Tonight I got to hear James Salter, author of A Sport and a Pastime, read at Bookhampton. I can die happy. I went over there on a lark today and saw the poster in the window!
Jen Bekman.
The best part is that Jen Bekman, the world's most marvelous friend, graciously exited us from the dinner party we were at on glam Ocean Ave, drove into town, dropped me off, parked, and then we snuck out during the q&a and went right back again.
