Modern Swedish style has much to offer –– Acne, a full lifestyle, including Acne Paper; Byredo Parfums, Resterods, a kind of c. 1935 Swedish L.L. Bean; Josef Frank textiles, et al –– but frankly I felt in tune with the vikings, trading fur for precious stones and all that. Other highlights I haven't mentioned so far would have to include dinner at Roxy, a charming little bistro on Nytorget Square in Sodermalm, and stopping by nearby SoFo surf-shop-slash-coffee-bar 6/5/4 for a new outfit. I also bought some throwback Carrera shades on Sandhamn. I would go back for a month in the summer, easily, although I'd get out of the city straightaway. Pristine as Stockholm is, the fresh and simple aesthetic most resonated for me in the countryside. And I hear Gotland has semi-wild ponies, plus the dreamy sounding Djupvik Hotel.
enjoyed all, so beautiful. a pleasure to read and to see these glorious pictures.
