So what to do? It's very small, of course, but it's outdoor space that doubles the loveliness quotient of my place. I have some geraniums, and roses, and ivy and flowering honeysuckle vines.
Once I wanted to have Edison bulbs on a strand of lights and it was a dumb idea. I hated the way the cords looked, all tangled, and they got so hot on the balustrade. I tossed those right quick.
Disintegrating Tibetan prayer flags are my vibe, conceptually and aesthetically, but a little too "sky burial" on a high floor like mine.
I think I want to put a door knocker on the door to make it more deco to my taste. There are a ton of cheap old ones available, i.e.

I also want to put an old military-style cot out there, for balmy afternoons, but I could be tempted to get a classier one instead.
