Call me call me for your lover's lover's alibi

In the airport, just before I was scheduled to leave the country for a few days, I felt some trepidation as I went to shut my cell phone off. What if someone left an important message? I wasn't too bent about it as most people know that email is the best way to get in touch; I seldom give out my phone number and it doesn't appear on my business cards, although it's easy enough to find. It really wouldn't have been a vacation if my phone was ringing off the hook in Europe, but it was still a concern that something essential might be missed. And then I remembered Callwave, a company one of my friends is involved with that basically intercepts voicemail and forwards it via text message and email. Almost instantly, one of my major dilemmas was solved for FREE and to my absolute satisfaction ever since! I am sure Callwave is marketed to some boring demo in some boring way but its natural audience is definitely creative professionals of all stripes who like to travel and don't have the staff or inclination to have someone answering their phone all the time. Stylists, filmmakers, photographers, artists, musicians, writers, and you, pretty baby: check it out, sweetheart.
