I've been meaning to write about Jenny Vorwaller's collection of jewelry inspired by The Secret Garden but I'm much too late to the party as the entire line has sold out!
Continuing with the garden theme, then, I am anticipating spring even with icy snow on the ground because one feature of my apartment (which I moved into in November) that I have not yet been able to fully experience is the small but charming balcony, which was wholly unexpected. I even ordered a new laptop battery and wireless router today so that I can sit on the balcony when the weather gets more amenable to my desire. I don't have much of a green thumb but I'm going to try to grow some ivy as it's not too sunny. A chair, maybe two and a small table is all that will fit out there, but that's fine (my aesthetic: Isadora Duncan living in what was to become the Rodin Museum meets The New Eighteenth-Century Style with a dash of dacha). All I need is somewhere to sit with a cup of tea and contemplate the future, which will include some space, a generous amount of leisure and no shortage of marvelous fountains. Hurrah.
