Although I find magazines and newspapers cumbersome, I have to admit that "real" mail is clearly one advantage that the print world holds. I love checking my mailbox, and do so each day with anticipation of something wonderful and new to enthrall me. In that spirit: if you email me your mailing address (worldwide) with the subject "OLD FASHIONED" (even if you think I already have your contact information, please send again as this is entirely "opt-in"), I will send you a postcard whenever I have one on hand -- once a month or so, and mostly for new books, art exhibitions, films and other projects, with the occasional pin or ephemera when charming and applicable. Yes, it's true, you can always peruse the column on the right for a list of events I've organized or plan to attend personally on behalf of clients (mostly in New York), but it's not quite the same, is it!
