Today I had a lovely working lunch at the Cornell Club with one of my clients, Peter Temes, author of The Power of Purpose: Living Well by Doing Good, a dazzling and entertaining tome that's perfectly suited for deriving both meaning and success from our short, mortal lives. Afterward, in a socially tragic turn of events, everyone's favorite venture capitalist was ensnared in a rather involved board meeting and so I was on my own at Takashimaya.
