This exquisite occasional table (image scanned from Elle Decor) is part of Grange's new Ermitage collection, which pays homage to the influences of imperial St. Petersburg and classical French style.
Noted, "The river banks of the Neva in St Petersburg tell the tales of 300 years of history. Inspired by Louis XVI, the Ermitage collection has fluted legs and brass ends. Its vibrant colours and silver or gold edgings reminisces of the Russian museum facades."
The table is beech, available in different colors (it appears online in a rich, chocolate-y aubergine), and retails for just under a thousand dollars.
Windowlicker - from the French for window shopping: faire du lèche-vitrine - appears on Tuesday and Thursdays at 10am EST.
