Alane by Day is a new project I'll be contributing to in coming weeks, starting...now. Alane Ebner (pictured above)
is a rock star architect + designer who is forging a new path with her own business. I'll be a member of the advisory board that will pop in to her "start-up"-themed blog from time to time with bons mots and the occasional professional commentary. Hopefully, all discourse featuring yours truly will be as sharp and insightful as the following exchange, from an introductory interview conducted by Transformist's Antony Van Couvering:
LC: I live in Tribeca.
AVC: In New York?
LC: Doesn’t everybody live in New York that’s working on this?
AVC: No. We have people from New Zealand and Rome and London and even other parts of the country.
LC: Ok, so just say New York.
My first post, What's That Mean? is live, and I'm honored and charmed to have been invited to join the conversation. I hope you'll swing by, as, given my esteemed company, it's turning out to be quite the stylish affair.
very cool project!

Hey! Loved your piece at Alane by Day. Grrr, where were you when I needed PR for that damned book? Well, now that I know where you are, the future is bright. Your site is terrific, btw-- I have more photos of that French Bulldog (some close-ups) if you'd like. Just let me know.
