People always ask why I am so dressed up. First, I regard things differently, and am too polite to comment. And second, every day is a chance, and a choice. As I've said, "I have many recollections of my parents dressed nicely for parties when I was very young, and that always inspires me, the idea of what we gather on our bodies in anticipation of a journey to a beautiful place. I wanna go there." While I certainly have my destinations in mind when I leave home, I am very open-minded about where the course may lead, and, ultimately, I'd just like to amble into a room worthy of my efforts. Or, to quote a Hedy Lamarr profile I was reading in the Wall Street Journal last night, It was inevitable that a beautiful rich girl who had appeared naked on film would end up in Hollywood.
