When I first moved to New York and was very young and very poor, by objective standards, I used to go and look at Joseph Cornell's Setting for a Fairy Tale at the Whitney when I felt as though I'd lost my way. I am thinking of it again today, but in a deeper, different way. Maybe I have the keys to the castle.
