Things I liked about this weekend...
Getting snapped having a drink at Cafe Katja and maybe being in the Daily News next week, staying up late to enjoy the sort of scintillating conversation I only dreamed about as a kid (discussing the similarities between Tokyo and Rome, for instance, as I adore the former and can't wait to visit the latter), sashaying down the to-die-for stairs at Brasserie 8 1/2, sitting up under the rafters in the very last row at the ballet, traipsing around the Peking on Sunday afternoon...
In his memories, dreams and reflections, CG Jung said he could not go to Rome, la citta eternale, because of all that had happened there. We went in '85 and sat down at an outdoor cafe upon arriving. While waiting for food, we saw an auto collision at an intersection a few meters aways.
