Blame it on Demeulemeester

Maybe I was obsessed with gowns before I walked into Ann Demeulemeester last week, but possibly not; hers are gorgeous and would convert any cold, cold heart. I can't stop thinking about how much drama I want to express in all my outfits, and going full-length seems like an exquisite shortcut to a fashionable extreme. I already wear a dress almost every day, but am always willing to push things forward. Here's what I wish I had on right now. Well maybe not right now -- I promised myself I'd spend some time this morning arranging things in my apartment so I can work more efficiently. Off to do housework for a bit then, with my mantras firmly in mind: 1) Elegance is refusal and 2) Have nothing in your house that you do not know to be useful or believe to be beautiful.
