Crumpler, the Australian messenger bag company, was on my radar but in something of a neutral way until this week, when its annual sale in New York kicked off a week-long swap of Beer for Bags. Now I like them a lot, because they gave jen bekman brewskies for the Hey Hot Shot! opening yesterday. "The Complete Seed" in black is appealing and would be just big enough for my laptop, a couple of promising manuscripts I'm reading for '07, and the new issue of Self Service.
