At Moss in SoHo a weekend or two ago, I admired this gorgeous object in person, and then, when I went to the shop's site a few minutes ago to look for a carved scrimshaw bracelet that said "proud to live in a blue state" or something sweet and charming like that, this pitcher was the first item I saw; I interpreted it as a sign that it was destined to be the subject of today's Windowlicker. I would love to have a dinner party with this on the table, full of ice cold water, although the note says: "Perfect for serving milk." [Aphrodite pitcher, $450 at Moss]
