I often daydream about the perfect eccentric creative space that would suit my tastes and lifestyle. Sometimes I think it's easily achievable with one trip to any old branch of Antoine & Lili in Paris or Pearl River here in New York; other times it has to be a cave lit by candlelight and furnished with everything rococo and all that nonsense. As you can well imagine, I had quite a bit of time to rip pages out of magazines while I was visiting with my family in Maryland last week...
Some divine concepts + elements that have captured my imagination for the moment:

For me, it's all about color, especially in intense jewel tones. Fashion-wise, it's generally all-black head to toe, but I love the use of vivid shades as a core element of the constructed environment. Like De Stijl, or the interior equivalent of living in a cocktail ring.
