The Perfect Manhattan
Charming me is easy when it begins with a meeting at someplace like Bemelman's, as I do have an immeasurable fondness for both the Upper East Side and literary bars. And if the company is clever, so much the better.
I spent a lovely evening there tonight in conversation with E. Tage Larsen, the sharply inquisitive mind behind Placement, a new publication that "examines choice in culture." It's a brilliant new favorite of my mine that you should absolutely check out.
Hint: The introduction is the best place to start.
"clever" usually gets me into too much trouble.
thanks. it was nice tossing back a few cocktails with the belle of new york.
