I'll be in Philadelphia tomorrow, then back in the city for the clink clink of cubes in a glass this weekend. And lest I forget, one must make an appointment to experience this gem.
If my life turns out half as glamourously as that of one of the human beings I most admire in the world, artist-turned-poet Dorothea Tanning -- who painted the self-portrait seen here on the eve of turning thirty (the way she captured her poise and sense of her own purpose is stunning, isn't it?) -- then I shall be a fortunate person indeed.
In the meantime, the forecast is looking very sunny these days, and things are shaping up gorgeously. Stay tuned.
